SKYSCRIBE 2025: An intra-university research article writing competition

The AIAA AUST Student Branch has successfully wrapped up SKYSCRIBE 2025: An intra-university research article writing competition, dedicated to advancing thought and innovation in aerospace and aviation, which took place from August 3rd to August 19th, 2025.
Over the course of two weeks, participants were challenged to dive into the compelling theme: “Next-Gen Cockpits: Redefining the Flight Deck with Augmented Reality”. The theme engaged the student to explore how Augmented Reality (AR) is revolutionising flight interaction, enhancing safety protocols, and unlocking new capabilities across the aviation field with creative and innovative solutions.
We have received a remarkable number of submissions from students across various departments. The articles reflected a diverse range of perspectives, critical analysis, and comprehensive reviews. It was inspiring to see the participants engage deeply with a technology that is deeply connected to define the future of aerospace.
